The holidays is upon us and regardless of being gluten free, it is so easy to overeat.  Like everything else with Celiac, plan ahead so you don’t over eat.  I have found that even though I am Celiac there are so many options for sweets which really can add those calories.

Team Sports and Play Time can be very stressful for your child, especially if your child has special diet needs.    Why not encourage other parents to provide fruit, which is the safest and healthiest for all.   Getting the coach on board and talking to the parents about your child’s needs in advance, really makes a difference.  In any situation with our kids,  we need to make sure that we remain calm, and to the point, rather than demanding and temperamental.
